My Wonderful Husband_
I also gave him a more reasonable suggestion.. the butterfly ring I have been wanting for like 2 yrs now. But I'd also like for him to come up with something on his own for a change. No one likes to pick out their own gift. All I know is we're going out to dinner, not sure where yet.

It's finally here...
Summer that is!
Today was the kids last day of school. Since our school is transisitioning to a Traditional schedule, they will have a full 6 wks off for summer. I am not too thrilled lol. Although, the upside is that I don't have to get up at the butt crack of dawn for a little while. The down side? Well, my sanity will be wavering, more so than it already is *wink*
I am however looking forward to putting my youngest in Kindergarten! What a milestone that will be for me. All 5 boys in school, wow. I've been waiting like 10 yrs for this day to come and it is finally here! I may just end up with a much cleaner house.. don't hold me to that though.
I am not sure what I will do with myself when they are all in school FULL time! It should be interesting.
Anyway, pizza should be here shortly and then I am going to watch a cheesy Disney flick that is premiering tonight with my boys. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Holy Pens Batman!
Awhile back when my husband was working for the storage company, he came home with a garbage bag full of pens, literally! There had to be at least 1000 pens in that bag. Apparently, this company bought them special with their name on them and put them in storage and just forgot about them, so he brought them home!
Well, he put some in my dresser drawer (don't ask why, because even I don't know), and he kept some in the bag in the closet. We thought we'd have pens for life... or at least a pretty long time. Pens always disappear in this house so we just grabbed a new one every time we couldn't find the last one we were using.
It didn't take very long before all the pens.. even the ones in bag were completely gone. So, now it's like 6 months later and I am randomly finding these marketing pens all over my house and in the craziest places!
I found one in my tupperware cupboard and in my bathroom drawer. I think my tupperware lids are taking notes on how to get lost so that I have to buy all new ones.
So, how was your day?

Only In My Dreams...
Yep, it's that time again, time for one of my notorious blabber-on-at-random posts. Ok, well it's not entirely about nothing. The other day I was watching a marathon of Clean House. I love these home renovation shows, even though they always leave me feeling a little tiny bit envious.
For instance there was one episode, not sure which show it was from, Moving Up on TLC, I think, but they re-did one of the spaces into a little mini-me sized movie theater.
I would absolutely love my own private theater, especially if I had my very own popcorn machine complete with a pump of that oh so special movie popcorn butter that I love so much. And don't even get me started on the home theater chairs, the leather, the cup holders....ok now I am salivating.
I think this is something my husband would agree with me about, don't you?
Anyway, out of dreamland.. yesterday I spent the entire day with a massive migraine. It was so horrible. I had to have my mom take the kids and get me something over the counter specially for migraines although it only helped a little. I had Motrin in the house but I had exceeded the daily dosage and it wasn't working anyway.
I am alot better today though, thank goodness. I better go start making dinner before my little ones start gnawing on each others limbs.
Have a great day y'all!

The Weekend and a Movie Review!
On Friday, my niece turned 2! My mom and I babysat that night for a little while because it was also my sister inlaws sister inlaw's 30th birthday. Are ya still with me?
So my mom picked up the girls from the party on her way home from work. Lexi was so wound up, my moms aid she talked the E-N-T-I-R-E way home! And I believe it too because as soon as I got in the car she was calling me "Fyfe!!!" so I'd look at her.. except I didn't respond unless she said *Auntie* Fyfe. So then she did and I'd say what and turn around and she'd say "Look at my tongue... aaaaahhhh" and then I'd do it back and she'd be in hysterics. We pretty much did this from my house all the way back to their house. I nearly peed my pants LOL.
On Saturday was Lexi's party. Oh boy wasn't that fun! It actually was very fun except the birthday girl was a little crabby. She was happy just full of attitude and I think with all the people and all the kids in and out of the house was a little much. Not to mention that she was up til 11 pm the night before. They rented a jump house and had that in the front yard so she was jumping alot. They also had a pinata.. no one got smacked in the head or anything. It was a good time.
My husband kicked me out of the house for the night.. so my mom and I went to the mall to try on clothes that we had no intention of buying lol. Except that if I did actually find something I liked and it was cheap enough then I might buy it. But unfortunetly I didn't, all I did find out is that I can't shop at Old Navy until I drop a few. But I did discover a store, Torrid, and I think I will be getting a few outfits from them.. they really have some cute stuff! I can finally be a size Zero!! It'll be the only time though *wink*
Then we grabbed a small salad in the food court while we waited for our movie to start, this is where the review comes into play.
We saw The Happening. WOW, what can I say.. except M. Night Shyamalan does it again! I really liked it, I like alot of his movies. He has a way of relaying the message without showing you everything. Makes you wonder. It really made me jump several times through out the movie.
Here's a trailer for you.

Learn something new every day..
I was talking to a friend of mine on the phone the other day and they are planning a trip overseas and mentioned she was getting quotes for travel health insurance. I didn't even know that existed so I was like, "What is that?!?"
She told me that it was just incase her or one of the kids got hurt or sick while they were away, since they would be gone for a few weeks in a foreign country. She didn't want to take any chances. She also said that it not only covered medical expenses but would cover emergency medical evacuation, accidental death, cost of returning home and alot more.
It really made a lot of sense to me and now I know about it, if I ever decide to do any foreign travel!

Father's Day
It's that time again! With Mother's Day just past, Father's Day is just around the corner. I was looking around online for things that my husband might like but was having some trouble. So I was chatting with my friend Heather, and she suggested these watches by Jaeger LeCoultre. So, I took a look and they have some gorgeous watches. I am not so sure they are my husband's tastes but they are definately my Dad's style. Very classy and stylish, perfect to wear to work.
Thanks Heather!!

Totally off the wall..
But kinda funny, at least it is to me. The other night Dan and I were sitting here watching tv and all of a sudden an ad for Branson resorts comes on the tv. Hubby wasn't aware that Branson, MO was a pretty big resort hotspot and really neither did I until a few months ago when I discovered it and blogged about it. When I had heard about it before, I decided to research it so I looked it up in a search and found all sorts of cool stuff to do.
One thing in particular that caught my eye was the Silver Dollar City Theme Park. Now I know what you're probably thinking, once you've been to one theme park, you seen em all. That's normally what I think too, even though secretly I'm a big kid and I love theme parks! But this one seems a bit more interesting to me. It's "set to the tune of the 1880's Ozark culture". They've got rides, they've got demonstrating craftsmen, food (!), and loads of entertainment.
Well, there you have it.. I've sold myself! Hey honey! Guess where we're going this summer?!?!!

Happy Mother's Day
Today started off a little rocky, I'm still a little cranky but I think that I was mostly just frustrated and I tend to bottle things up and then when they come out, boy do they come out!
My 12 year old picks up on these things and then he can be such a sweetheart and I feel awful that I was in such a foul mood and probably took it out on him. He made me a very nice turkey and cheese omelette with hashbrowns. He did a really great job too.
My mom ended up coming over and taking the kids away so I could rest. I ended up cleaning and doing laundry because it is easier for me to get these things done when no one is here to mess it up as it gets finished. My son bought me a new set of kitchen knives for Mother's Day, my sweet boy.
Dan sent me home with my mom because my brothers were taking her out to dinner and she wanted me to come too. We were originally going to go to Olive Garden but when we called at 5 they said if we were to come in right then it would be at least a 2-3 hour wait. So, we didn't go there! There was no way we could have done that, we had 2 little ones with us.
So we went to our favorite Chinese restaraunt and it was perfect. We actually got reservations, so hard to find places that actually take reservations anymore. My sister in law was asking me if I could watch the girls for a little bit on Wednesday morning as she is having surgery, and then my brother was explaining the drug treatment program with the pain medication she has to do for the 3 days following the surgery. Sounded a bit painful but she won't feel a thing!
And then as if we didn't eat enough, we went out for ice cream. Then it was home sweet home. I am pretty tired. I think I will be getting to bed pretty soon, I have a full day of loading product into my store tomorrow. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

He Got A Job!!
YES! He did it! He got a job! He just started his very first day yesterday and he came home and I asked "Hi Honey, how was work?" And he says...
"It was work".. Gotta love men. Ok, care to elaborate? So then he starts filling me in, basically how he's super easy to train and knows what he's doing (only been doing it for 8 years now..). And then he tells me how one guy before him managed to run over his own foot with the forklift. Hope the dude has some really good life insurance, because the way he's going he's going to need it!!

Moms of Teenage Boys!
I'm on new ground here.. I've never been the mom of a teenager and suddenly here I am!! My oldest has been blessed cursed with his father's skin. So I am now researching the best acne treatment, but I want real life testimonials. There's so much out there that it's a bit overwhelming.
So, if you have any suggestions as to what works and what doesn't, here is your chance to leave your two cents!
My honey loves me
Yesterday my dear sweet husband cooked me breakfast, lunch and then he made a special dinner as well! He made us chicken breasts stuffed with ricotta and gorgonzola cheeses and bacon. It was so good! He made a mustard and white wine sauce to go over the chicken as well.
Later we watched some television and it was kinda funny because in one of the programs scenes they had magnifiers strategically placed over a logo and I didn't even catch it! It wasn't like they were subtle about it either. Dan noticed though and backed it up so I could see and sure enough there it was! Silly, but it gave me a chuckle.
Today, I am working on a secret project.. just a little over a week before I can let you in on the little secret but for now, you'll just have to keep wondering. I'm mean I know, but I can live with that.

Feeling Snacky
This time of night is really not my favorite. It's late, I'm watching my favorite shows but yet I have this compulsion to eat. I'm not really hungry, I just cannot stop thinking about food!
I've battled with my weight for a really long time now. I thought at one point that I had it under control. I had lost a lot of weight healthfully and naturally and after the birth of my last baby I thought I would just do it again and everything would be great. Well, with all my best intentions it took me nearly 2 years to finally start seeing some results. I'm sure my metabolism was thrown for a loop. I had 3 babies in 3 years, breastfed them, lost the weight.. the cycle continues.
In the past I tried numerous things like weight loss pills, counting, watching my portions. I am just finding it so hard to not go nuts at bedtime. I'd love to be able to ignore it but I don't seem to be able to, in fact that is why I am here right now. Just something to keep my hands busy.
So, if you're a late night snacker like me.. how do you keep yourself from over doing it at night?
Right now, I'm going to try some fruit.

My Mommy Loves me!
Dan left for the races this morning, he'll be gone today through Sunday. One of my ever so lovely children failed to put the lid to the coffee pot back ON the coffee pot when unloading the dishwasher. This is a must have thing to brew a pot of coffee because if you don't it won't drip!!
My mommy brought me a cup of coffee on her way to work.. ahhhhhhh sanity in a cup. I need to get a new coffeemaker. I think I am going to get one that only does 1-2 cups at a time and brews straight into your cup. I'm the only one in the house who drinks coffee so why not?
On another note, guess what?? It's that time again!! Yep, it's NATIONAL SCRAPBOOKING DAY on May 3rd! I'm declaring it National Scrapbooking WEEKEND because all 3 of my stores will be on sale ALL weekend long!!!
Purple Paper Flowers will be 30% off, PPF will also be having a discount on Print Services (30%) and MyBook Planners (50%) so check those out.
OScraps & BlytheEvans.com will both be 35% off all weekend starting tomorrow!

Calgon, Take me Away!
For now though I will just have to settle for my mom's hot tub. If the spa repair guys ever get around to coming over to fix it that is. Nah, I'm just teasing.. they had to order a part and are waiting on that so they can't do anything til it comes in. But when it does and they get it fixed I am moving in! I hope my husband doesn't mind my running away on a weekly.. ok maybe daily basis. (Hehe, just kidding babe. Sorta. Ok not really.)
Pretty soon, Liam will be starting Kindergarten. Tomorrow when I go down to pick up Braeden from school I have to drop off some final papers for his registration. He is SO excited, and so is mommy! Greyson is such an angel when he doesn't have someone around to cause trouble with.
Trying out a new signature below, be sure to stop by and tell me what you think, if you like the new one or think I should stick to my old one :)

Crazy Busy
Sorry I've been scarce lately. I haven't had much time to blog lately. I have been working my tail off and I think that I mentioned before that I've been having hard drive issues on my laptop, so I am using Dan's desktop for the time being.
Yesterday, we managed to reformat my C drive and reinstall Windows. We got it all up and running and then... it flipped out again. So, I think that we are going to have to send it back to Dell to have them fix it.
Dan took the boys out to play hockey at a park near my brother's house. They have a roller hockey rink over there, so that's why he went that far. I guess now would be a good time to pay my
bills. It's a good thing I can pay my car insurance online, I really hate mailing things. I pay all my bills online. I think the only one I don't pay online is my rent. Everything is either online or on the phone.
The price of gas isn't the only thing to go up lately.. the price of stamps is kinda crazy too, and I had no idea until I had asked my mom if she had one. I haven't bought stamps in so long, I had no idea they weren't still .37 cents.
I should get out more. Shh, don't let hubby hear me say that.

Hmmm yummy!
I've taken over my husband's computer since mine decided it wanted to fizzle out on me, so he's making me look up a certain coffee franchise location nearest the freeway so that he can have a place to meet his buddy tomorrow. They are working out of town this weekend and going up a day early to set up.
I haven't done much of anything today. I got some work things done but I am procrastinating because they are things that I still have a little time to get done but for the most part I took a lazy day. I am sitting here looking around at my living room that was clean but is no longer as the result of my lazy day.. that and the monkeys that inhabit this jungle.
If I sound tired, it's because I am. I had a hard time sleeping last night and ended up falling asleep on the couch. Alright, it's about that time so I am off to feed the monkeys.
Have a great night.

My Day...
Today was kind of an odd day. I was in the middle of writing a fun little blog post when all of a sudden my screen went blue. Yes, that's right I got the dreaded Blue Screen of Death. Luckily, for me I have several means of backups and everything of importance was on my external hard drive and that was not affected. At least someone is looking out for me because if I had lost any of those files I'd be on the couch in the fetal position right now.
So, even though my nearly brand new, under a year old laptop computer built for heavy graphics and gobs of memory took a nose dive I am in a good mood because I didn't lose anything important. Yea me!
My son, Liam, who is 5 and starting Kindergarten this year.. provided I can get his doctor to fill out this form and have it back to me on time, has taken a shine to infomercials. He takes after my mother that way, who I had dubbed "The Queen of Infomercials". She and I used to take Sundays off from life, sleep late, have coffee, make huge Sunday breakfasts, and then spend the rest of the day watching infomercials. At one point she had just about everything that you had ever seen on tv. Wonder Mops, magical pots and pans, colon cleansers, you name it she had it.
Long story a tiny bit shorter, Liam was sitting on the couch the other day when a commercial came on tv. It wasn't quite long or good enough to be called a commercial but not yet long enough to be an actual infomercial.. so let's just call it a infant-mercial. So, he's watching this infant-mercial and he turns to me in his ever so serious sweet little voice and says, "Mom don't you want a Pancake Puff Pan?"
Of course I said no.. but he insisted I did. I must admit those little pancake puff balls filled with ooey gooey chocolate pudding really did look good. I was telling my mom about it the other night and of course the first words out of her mouth.. after the giggling stopped were "Hey, I want one too" Gee how in the world did I know she was going to say that?
Anywa, I hope y'all have a great night.. I've had a long day and I'm headed to bed.

Happy Easter!
I hope you and all your families are having a great holiday and if you don't celebrate well then I hope you are having a super duper Sunday!
As for me, we are not really celebrating this year. Dan is off working a race and I am home with the kids doing all the normal stay at home mom Sunday stuff. Laundry, vacuuming, wiping out the bathroom sinks, you know all that good stuff.
In other news, Dan has declared this coming week "Mom's Vacation". I am being kicked over to my mom's house for the whole week. I was over there on Friday and I was actually able to work. I got alot of new stuff made so I am looking forward to having the week to just chill.
I'll be back on Thursday to pick up the kids because my mom got us tickets to go see The Wiggles in concert! My brother and sister inlaw had tickets to take the girls so my mom bought tickets for us and the little boys too, so we are all going!
Anyway, hope you all have a great rest of the day!
